Personal Description:

Hello! My name is Natasha and I am a graduate of the Sylvia Young Theatre School in London. Renowned globally for its excellent reputuation as the premier training institution for young performers in the UK, a large majority of West End professionals learn their trade at Sylvia Young, where I trained intensively in Musical Theatre, Singing and Acting as a pupil and had the phenomenal opportunity to be mentored by West End Musical Directors and Vocal Coaches with a range of impressive credits and notable achievements. This has given me invaluable knowledge and experience, gleaning expertise in relevant teaching methods and Industry level practices, which instilled a strong sense of classical training in my approach as a Music Tutor. That being said, at heart, I am nothing more than an avid music and theatre geek. No matter the skillset or experience level, I really just love to teach people to sing. My lessons can be as relaxed or as professional as you desire, but they will always be encouraging, warm and enriching.

Tutoring Experience:

Learning to sing should be both joyous and incredibly fun. It should also be empowering - I find building confidence is equally as vital as skill building. I aim to ensure my students actively look forward to their lessons by making them as dynamic, enthusiastic and entertaining as possible. As a young performer myself, I grew up mentoring and caring for fellow younger students behind the scenes on the professional pantomime circuit, in addition to regularly chaperoning performances and shows. I pride myself on understanding the pressures, highs and lows of performing as a singer in both casual and professional environments. My training has equipped me in teaching every level, providing nurturing support and heartfelt guidance to grassroots performers.

Tutoring Approach:

Whether you are a casual beginner or a more advanced virtuoso, I cater towards anybody that has an interest in music and a desire to learn to sing. I structure my lessons dependent on experience and skill level. If you are simply hoping to improve your sound, bring a song of your choice along to each lesson and I would be delighted to work with you on improving technicalities and sharpening your vocal tools. From a variety of your favourite Pop tunes to esoteric Musical Theatre ballad classics, I enjoy teaching every genre and can't wait to have fun jamming out with you!
