Vanessa's Feedback

After four weeks of having Vanessa as a maths tutor, our son, who is currently in year 5, is regaining his confidence. He has started to put his hand up in class, has become more interested in his weekly homework and is finding it easier to write down his working; what an improvement… ! She is fantastic with our son, who feels very comfortable and happy working with her. Very professional and knowledgeable, she knows how to keep our son's attention through the whole hour. We are planning on keeping Vanessa as our son's tutor for as long as she is available.

My daughter is very happy with Vanessa. Vanessa has helped my daughter to clear most of the queries that she couldn't understand during school chemistry classes. Vanessa's explanation is clear & straight to the point. Thank you very much for your help, Vanessa.

Hi Vanessa I think Friday went well with William ,he was a lot more confident and if he doesn't understand think he realises he will be able to go through it with you. See how you get on with Skype . How would you like me to pay you for that lesson if you are not coming here?

Before starting to work with Vanessa my son had very low self-confidence in maths and this was getting in the way of him reaching his potential. Vanessa has taken the time to get to know him as a person and then used this knowledge of his likes and dislikes to build a maths programme around him. His confidence has improved considerably and he is making good progress. We would not hesitate in recommending Vanessa to other people looking for 1-1 maths support.

Vanessa is an excellent tutor, my 13 year old daughter did not want a tutor but Vanessa immediately put her at ease. My daughter now really enjoys her tutor lessons and is learning alot. She finds it difficult asking questions in class and so was lagging behind a bit, having one to one tuition is definitly doing her a lot of good. Highly recommended!

Thank you for always responding to my emails extremely quickly and for always being punctual! I would certainly say Georgia is becoming more confident & I believe the weak areas highlighted in the summer have been worked through. i would like to see the first part of the lesson used to reinforce these areas and anything else you observe! Practise & retention is key & a list of all the Maths topics would be helpful with the date revised. I also have a Maths schedule from school which should be used to align the lesson content please. Vanessa is enthusiastic and engages with our son. She is passionate about science and enjoys interaction. I would recommend her. Only had three lessons.

Vanessa has been very helpful and has made the sessions more relaxed and fun for my daughter than maths usually is at school. I have no hesitation in recommending her.

We are very happy with Vanessa. She is very friendly and sensitive to my sensitive son. He is enjoying a science experiment every time. He has also done math work and sometimes has homework. I can now step back and leave my son's progress to Vanessa, which is great!
