I am a native German, moved to Northumberland in 2012 to live here with my British husband, our bilingual daughter and our little dachshund.

I have an eye for detail and I will recognise your strengths and weak spots. In individually planned lessons you will learn in a way that is most effective for you and you will be able to improve and exceed your own expectations in no time.

I teach with great passion and I have helped many students to become confident and fluent German speakers.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching private students one-to-one, beginning from 6 years up to 60+ years old.

In February 2023 I completed a Teaching Assistant Course with a specific focus on supporting special educational needs students (SEN, Autism, ADHD and Dyslexia).

My lessons are tailored to your needs and cover listening, speaking, reading and writing combined with a lot of fun. Your mind will be kept interested during our interactive and varied lessons.

I am very patient and encouraging as I know how hard the German language can appear. Everybody learns in a different way and I am very flexible to adjust to yours to support your progress and make you a confident German speaker. No matter which learning stage you are at, with my help you will be improving your skills easily and quickly.

Please note, my lessons are 45 minutes long. Longer lessons can be requested.
