Hello! I’m Radek, a passionate and highly experienced mathematics educator with over 23 years of teaching experience across Poland and the UK. I currently serve as Trust Director of Maths, following five years of strategic leadership of Sixth Form, where my students achieved an exceptional Value Added score of 1.19 in Maths.
I hold a Master’s degree in Education, a UK A-level Mathematics teaching certificate, and have successfully led Maths departments in Durham, Birmingham, London, and Essex. I’ve also completed the National Professional Qualification in Senior Leadership, equipping me with the tools to drive excellence in teaching and learning.
My teaching experienced includes 2 outstanding school, 3 good schools where I was judged as outstanding in my teaching observation. The Maths departments where achieving their best under my leadership. I have been a member of teaching and learning team in last 4 school and trained middle leaders on national programme for Senior Leaders. Currently I am Assitant Headteacher in highly successful school in Essex where I lead Maths Department and am part of Teaching and Learning Team. I tutor students privately (GCSE and A level). I have an experience of working with gifted and talented students. I teach GCSE, A level Pure Maths and Further Maths. I have a 100% pass rate 9 - 4 (GCSE) and A* - C (A level). For last 8 years I have been working for Edexcel as a specialist examiner in mathematics (marking GCSE, A level and iGCSE exams).
All my past tutees past their exam and surpassed their grades.
My approach to teaching maths is entirely student-centred — I tailor every lesson to suit the learner’s age, ability, and goals. Whether a student needs help building confidence or is already high-achieving and wants to stretch their understanding, I adapt my methods to bring out their best.
I create a stimulating and supportive environment where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow. My enthusiasm for mathematics is at the heart of every session — I aim not just to teach the subject, but to inspire a genuine interest in it.
Seeing students progress is incredibly rewarding, and I take pride in the fact that every year, my students consistently exceed their target grades — often by two or more levels, both in school and through private tuition.
