I am a highly experienced, supportive and caring private tutor with 29 years of teaching and school leadership and headship experience. I am available to tutor KS1, 2 and 3 children, and adults in English and maths, 11 + exam skills, or any curriculum area. I have much experience working with children of all abilities and have an excellent exam success rate. I tutor a number of highly sensitive pupils, giving them the confidence to thrive. I offer all primary subjects, with English and PSHE and music being my specialties.

Tutoring Experience

I am a private tutor, ex-head teacher, Deputy head and primary teacher serving 29 years in primary and middle school education, both state and private sectors in the UK.
In September 2024 I left my school settings to start my tutoring business, which thankfully is thriving! I am currently available for after school and weekend sessions for pupils one to one, in person at my home, or online.

I have an obvious passion for learning and enjoy using my teaching skills, strong empathy and sense of humour to great effect!
