I am a qualified pharmacist with a Master’s degree in Pharmacy (MPharm) and a passion for teaching. Alongside my professional career, I tutor GCSE and A-Level students in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, English (Literature & Language), and History, as well as GCSE Triple Science (excluding A-Level Physics). I’ve always enjoyed helping others understand complex topics, and tutoring allows me to share my knowledge while supporting students to achieve their full potential.

I will help students with exam board curriculum and teaching based off of the specification. I will assist students in homework help and also assigning homework as I believe the best way to succeed academically is to practice and prepare for examinations.

Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring for several years, working with students of different abilities and backgrounds. My experience covers exam board specifications, helping students prepare thoroughly for GCSEs and A-Levels through targeted lessons, revision planning, and exam practice.
I have a strong academic background, proven results through helping students move from struggling grades to achieving or exceeding their predicted outcomes. I am also particularly skilled in science and maths, but also confident in English and history.

As a recent graduate, I understand the challenges of exams and the pressure students face, which helps me connect with them on a practical level. My passion for education led me to engage with young learners, providing them with tailored support to enhance their academic skills and confidence. Through my commitment to tutoring and mentoring, I have not only contributed to the academic development of individuals but also cultivated a deep appreciation for the transformative power of education.

Tutoring Approach

Every student is unique, so I begin with an initial assessment to identify strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles. From there, I create a tailored plan with SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound) to track progress.

My lessons are structured, engaging, and exam-focused:
- Covering key concepts in a clear and simple way.
- Applying knowledge to exam-style questions.
- Building confidence through practice and feedback.
- Providing revision timetables and strategies for independent study.

I aim not just to help students pass exams but to give them the skills, confidence, and organisation needed to excel. Lessons are available online, with in-person tutoring only for students based in Ipswich.
