I'm a former research chemist and was involved in academic, government and private research. I hold a Doctorate in Pure & Applied Polymer Chemistry (Strathclyde University), a Master's in Organic Chemistry (Glasgow University), and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry (Glasgow University).
Tutoring Experience
I've been a private tutor since 2003, tutoring either from home (via Teams or Zoom) or at the client's house. I offer tuition in chemistry, mathematics and physics (Scottish CfE National 5, Higher & Advanced Higher levels), and the arithmetic paper for both the Police entrance exam and the paramedic exam. I have experience teaching children with learning difficulties, dyslexia and anxiety disorders. I offer the first lesson free of charge, and a £5 discount for online tuition.
