English specialist. I have experience in teaching both language and literature, covering a variety of texts. Approaches and resources will be tailored to individual learners and their needs. Specialises in AQA exam board but can also tutor other specifications.
Over the past few years I have worked in a range of schools, dealing with learners from all walks of life and of all different abilities. I have experience teaching learners ranging from 11-18 covering KS3, GCSE and A Level.
I feel that when it comes to an approach it is important to tailor it to the learner. Each child learns differently and I feel it is important to deliver information in a way that makes it easy for learners to digest and retain. I feel that an approach can only be developed after speaking to learners and finding out what they need help with and what type of resources would benefit them personally.
