I have over 20 years experience as a fully qualified teacher, working in schools and colleges across the North West.

Now working full time as a tutor with my business Test Prep Tutors, I can provide Online or Face to Face Tuition in :

Tutoring Experience

Tutoring Approach

Teaching is much more than just knowing a subject. Many people are experienced professionals and musicians, they may even have a degree in the subject, but can they actually teach?

Teaching is a specialist skill that requires specialist training and a great deal of experience. With a PGCE and over 20 years experience of teaching, I have the experience to be able to use the correct tools, teaching styles and exam technique to get the best outcomes for each student.

Initially I will have a meeting to discuss the aspirations and needs of each student and then go from there.

I have a full armoury of resources that focus predominantly on equiping the student with the correct tools and confidence, to walk into the exam room and succeed.

All students gain at least 2 grades with this system.

These materials will include:
An initial assessment of needs
Tailored revision notes and activities to target weak areas, available to revise from at the end of each session
Revision power points with supported examples, questions and answers
Exam papers
Mark schemes with supported examples and answers
Model essay answers

Each student is an individual with individual needs. All materials are therefore tailored to the needs of the individual to ensure they reach their personal goals
