I’m Jamie, and I’ve been helping students excel in English for over 13 years. As a qualified teacher and parent, I know how to make learning stick.

I teach English at all Scottish levels and can also help with entrance exams. Whether your child struggles with essay writing, poetry analysis, or exam technique, I break things down into manageable steps.

I’ve also written several bestselling English study guides, so I know exactly what works.

My Background:

• GTCS registered teacher with 13 years’ classroom experience
• Two Masters degrees in Education (including Cambridge)
• SQA marker for 6+ years
• Experience supporting students with ASN, including dyslexia, ASD, and ADHD
• Parent who understands the challenges families face

When I’m not teaching, I play music, read, write, and follow rugby. These interests help me connect with students and make lessons more engaging.
