With over 8 years of teaching experience in both state and independent schools across London, I bring a deep understanding of the primary curriculum and a track record of helping young learners succeed. I currently teach at an all-girls prep school in Fulham, where I lead a Reception class.

My experience includes preparing pupils for national assessments such as Year 2 SATs and the 7+ entrance exams. I provide targeted, engaging, and supportive tutoring tailored to each child’s individual needs - building both academic confidence and core skills in maths, English, and reasoning.

Tutoring Experience

I graduated from the University of Brighton in 2018 with a BA (Hons) in Primary Education and have since been teaching in both state and independent schools across London. I also hold a BTEC Level 3 in Childcare, Learning and Development, which laid a strong foundation for my work with younger learners. Beyond the classroom, I spent three summers working as a camp counsellor in the United States—an experience that strengthened my ability to connect with children in fun, engaging, and supportive ways. My combined experience has given me a deep understanding of the National Curriculum and the progression expected through each key stage, enabling me to guide pupils effectively and confidently.

Tutoring Approach

My tutoring approach is focused, supportive, and tailored to each individual learner. I work quickly to identify gaps in understanding and use a wide range of targeted resources to address them. Just as importantly, I help students build strong problem-solving strategies - giving them the tools and confidence to succeed not just in the classroom, but in their independent learning as well.
