As a former Head of English in an underperforming inner London school, she led rapid, measurable grade improvements across the department — turning results around and raising student aspirations.

A specialist in 11+, KS3, KS4, and KS5, and with over 9 years as an AQA examiner, Dee brings strategic exam insight and curriculum expertise to every lesson - teaching AQA and Edexcel.

Her educational journey began with a BA (Hons) English Language from the University of Leeds, followed by a PGCE from King’s College London, where she refined her inclusive, adaptable teaching approach in some of the capital’s most diverse schools. Dee also holds the NPQSL (National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership), which underpins her expertise in school-wide improvement and leadership.

Dee’s career began supporting EAL and SEN pupils in Yorkshire and the North East, igniting a lifelong commitment to inclusion and student-centred success. As a Middle Leader at one of London’s top academic schools, she achieved a 100% pass rate, with more than half of her students attaining top grades (7–9), while mentoring colleagues to mirror this success. As Head of Department at a low-attaining inner-city school, Dee drove rapid progress, raising pass rates by 17% in a single year.
