I am a qualified primary teacher with over 25 years’ teaching experience in the UK and internationally. My in-depth subject knowledge enables me to plan and teach personalised learning for every student. I build student agency; engaging, motivating, and ensuring positive outcomes and results. My lessons are engaging and interactive, and help children realise their potential. I pride myself on building safe, caring relationships; giving students confidence to learn from mistakes and make good progress.

Tutoring Experience

My teaching and tutoring experience extends across from Year 1 to Year 6 with students from a diverse range of abilities and cultural backgrounds. Alongside my teaching career, I have provided professional 1:1 tutoring to students at international schools where I have worked. I have enjoyed teaching English and mathematics to primary students, helping to extend able students or support those needing additional catch-up. I have extensive experience teaching online gained as a result of my tutoring practice.
