Hi, I'm Chris - a recent PhD graduate and published chemist with years of experience helping students succeed at A-Level and GCSE.
My passion for chemistry has given me some amazing opportunities including working in industrial chemical research in the UK and abroad.

I am currently working as a full-time tutor, with a patient and friendly teaching style. I know that Chemistry can feel overwhelming, but in my experience students usually just need the right explanation. I specialize in breaking down complex ideas into manageable concepts so that students not only improve their grades but also gain confidence.

Tutoring Experience

I have published research and worked/studied in Chemistry for over a decade. I achieved A/A*s in all STEM subjects both at GCSE and A-Level, so I know how you are feeling and how to play the game.
I have been tutoring for over 6 years and my students consistently improve grades and approach exams with confidence.

Tutoring Approach

I don't just break down the content to improve understanding, I show students how to apply it in exam situations to maximize marks. Understanding helps remember the topic, but knowing what key words and calculations examiners look for is what improves your grades.
I tutor full-time and work to ensure every lesson is tailored to the students needs and learning style.
