Charlotte

I'm Charlotte and I graduated from Durham University in June 2015 with a degree in Classics (BA Hons, 2:1). Prior to that, I studied Maths, Latin and Ancient Greek at A-level (achieving A*, A, A respectively). I now work in the Financial Services Sector and am a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Tutoring Experience

I taught at a top London prep school for 4 months where my duties included helping individual pupils who required extra tuition.

Whilst at university I tutored privately during the holidays. In addition, I was part of the Student Community Action voluntary tutoring scheme and taught a pupil from a local school in the Durham area, supporting her studies for her GCSE Maths examination.

I have tutored a number of pupils privately as well as working at Naomi Martin Touch Typing courses during the school holidays.

Tutoring Approach

My approach focuses entirely on the needs of the individual and thus I am willing to adapt my lessons accordingly once the areas of difficulty have been established.

I follow the syllabus closely with questions and past papers along the way. This enables the pupil to be confident and sure of how to succeed in their exam.

I am enthusiastic, friendly and passionate about helping students in whatever way I can!
