I am an enthusiastic tutor with several years' experience tutoring A-level, undergraduate and graduate students in mathematics. I achieved four A*s at A-level and hold an MMath in Mathematics and Statistics with First Class Honours from the University of St Andrews. I am currently finishing a PhD in Statistics at King’s College London. I also bring professional experience from my time as an analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, allowing me to share insight with my students about the practical, real-world applications of mathematics.

Tutoring Experience

I have over three years’ experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at King’s College London, supporting undergraduate and master’s students in mathematics and statistics through tutorials and practical sessions. Given this experience and my own excellent GCSE and A-level results, I am well equipped to provide tailored support for these exams.

Tutoring Approach

I take a student-centred approach to tutoring, adapting each lesson to the individual’s goals, abilities, and learning style. My teaching methodology combines clear explanations, worked examples, and exam-style practice questions. I emphasise both conceptual understanding and problem-solving techniques, which helps students develop a strong mathematical foundation as well as exam success.
Lessons are typically 1 hour long and include a review of key concepts, guided problem-solving, and targeted practice tailored to the areas that need the most improvement.
