Callum

I have found Callum to be an excellent tutor in the time that I have been studying with him. It is clear that he is experienced in tutoring all age groups, and has developed the patience and people skills to help guide pupils through problems while building their confidence in their abilities. Callum often finds simple ways to clearly explain concepts I have previously struggled to grasp.

Callum is incredibly knowledgeable in Chemistry (including the AQA, Cambridge, and Edexcel curriculums), and he teaches not only the subject matter, but also high-yield revision techniques and best practice exam preparation in order for candidates to achieve top grades. Recently, I sat the Pearson Edexcel IGCSE chemistry paper 1 exam, and texted him afterwards that I believe there is a reasonable chance that I might have achieved full marks.

I cannot recommend highly enough.

What a lovely chap! Made my 16 year old son feel totally at ease - was able to give relevant, valuable, useful help - working at his pace and explaining things in a kind way - being very aware of my son’s ability and not making him feel stupid. Absolutely wonderful tutor! He explains concepts so well and clearly and is able to make you feel more confident in just a short about of time. Very reliable and clear communication and will make time for you when you need it. Very thankful.

I would like to recommend Callum since he is really good at explaining tricky math stuff. He makes difficult subjects seem much more approachable and comprehensible. By deconstructing those concepts with Callum, I was able to identify my errors when solving questions. Whether we're working with logarithms or tackling calculus, Callum is constantly providing relevant examples and simplifies abstract concepts into digestible terms. He always tries to make a class more interesting and less boring. Plus, he's patient and empathetic. In case of any doubts he's always there to help out via emails. Thanks to Callum, I feel less stressed and anxious when tackling maths questions.
