With over 20 years of experience teaching English Language and Literature in an Outstanding 11–18 secondary school, and 10+ years tutoring both in-person and online, I offer expert support tailored to all levels.
I have in-depth knowledge of the National Curriculum, have taught the latest syllabuses offered by AQA, Edexcel, OCR and Eduqas. I also currently externally mark AQA English Language Paper 1. I also prepare students for KS2 SATs, the 11+, and the iGCSE, supporting learners in both UK and international settings.
Online sessions are delivered via WhatsApp, Google Meet, or Teams. Lessons include a pre-sent PowerPoint, structured homework, and targeted feedback to close learning gaps.

10 years + private tutoring all abilities. Have achieved considerable success with students from age 9 to age 18.
Tutoring Approach
I like to prepare each tutoring lesson in detail on a PowerPoint presentation which is then used to structure the tutoring session. Students can then save this resource for later reference. I always use homework to enrich the next lesson.
