I’m a highly experienced and fully qualified teacher with a PGCE and QTS, as well as degrees at both Bachelor's and double Master’s level.
Over the years, I’ve consistently delivered outstanding results, including achieving the highest GCSE PE results for AQA in Buckinghamshire and regularly ranking among the top performers at both GCSE and A Level. I have extensive experience teaching across AQA, OCR, and Edexcel (Pearson) exam boards, with a particular specialism in Applied Physiology and Biomechanics, often regarded as the most challenging area for students.
I also support university students at undergraduate and postgraduate level in Sport Science, medical, and rehabilitation courses, helping them develop their academic writing, research skills, and exam technique.
Tutoring is something I genuinely love. It’s incredibly rewarding to see my students grow in confidence and close their learning gaps week by week. I’m passionate about supporting each learner not just to achieve their target grade, but to enjoy the journey along the way.
Alongside my teaching career, I’m also a qualified Chiropractor (awarded highest academic achiever in my cohort) and Exercise Physiologist, with experience working with the general public, athletes, and presenting at sports events.
As a UK PE tutor, I’m fully invested in my students’ progress and wellbeing. I aim to make every session count and the 5-star reviews from happy students and parents reflect that commitment.
I’m an experienced private tutor and former classroom teacher with over 20 years of success in education, having taught at the highest professional level (UPS3). Most recently, I taught Physical Education at a top-performing grammar school, ranked number one in UK in The Times Parent Power guide, where I also delivered related subjects such as EPQ, History of Medicine, Positive Psychology, and PT.
My background spans a wide range of educational settings, including lecturing in further education institutions, and secondary schools, where I’ve taught GCSE and A Level Physical Education courses extensively and previously, BTEC courses. I have a consistent track record of helping students achieve top grades in both GCSE and A Level Physical Education.
I bring deep subject knowledge and a clear understanding of exam board expectations, which allows me to tailor content effectively across different specifications. I'm confident teaching the full PE curriculum across all exam boards and have extensive experience in delivering high-quality online and one-to-one tuition.
I support university students (Sport Science, Sport and Exercise Sciences, Sports Medicine, Sports Therapy, Physiotherapy etc.) not only with curricular content but also with developing strong research and essay-writing skills, without relying on AI-generated shortcuts, so they can achieve genuine academic success.
Above all, my focus is on personal growth, building confidence, and helping each student reach their full potential.
My tutoring is entirely student-centred, with each session tailored to the unique needs, goals, and learning style of the individual. Whether it's weekdays, evenings, or weekends, I offer flexible scheduling to fit around school and other commitments.
I believe that every student is different, and one-to-one tutoring provides the perfect opportunity to create a personalised learning pathway. Together, we’ll identify what’s working, what’s not, and why tutoring is needed, ensuring that our time together is focused, efficient, and directed towards achieving your target grade.
Sessions are delivered online via Zoom. With online tutoring, I can work with students from anywhere in the UK, bringing expert, personalised support directly to your home. I handle the scheduling and provide all necessary links and materials in advance. I also share high-quality resources electronically and maintain regular communication with parents to ensure transparency and progress. Homework is often set and students are expected to complete it before we next meet, to help reinforce learning and track progress.
In addition to academic support, I also offer guidance on writing strong personal statements for university applications.
