Education is a step to success, and I have been very grateful to be a part of so many students' learning journeys. It is easy to feel lost in a classroom setting and struggle to find the confidence to ask for help. I encourage my students to speak up, ask questions, and seek support—because that’s how real learning happens.
I am genuinely passionate about economics and its role in shaping the world around us. I believe that understanding economics empowers individuals to make informed decisions, whether in their personal lives or as active citizens. Teaching allows me to share that passion, demystify complex ideas, and help students gain the confidence to think critically and independently. That’s why I teach—to inspire, to support, and to make economics engaging and accessible for everyone.
I have been teaching GCSE Mathematics and A Level Economics in Greater Manchester for 11 years. I was previously Deputy Head of Maths at a Secondary School and I am currently Course Leader of Economics.
A-Level Economics can be daunting, especially for those encountering it for the first time. I support students by sharing effective study techniques that helped me succeed, while also breaking down common misconceptions. By relating economic theories to real-life scenarios, I make complex concepts accessible and easier to understand.
