Personal Description:
Hi! I am a graduate of the Royal Northern College in cello but am also a very competent pianist. I prefer to teach piano and music theory though. I also provide piano accompaniment for ABRSM exams. Feel free to ask me any questions.
Tutoring Experience:
Experienced teaching pupils of mixed ages and abilities. As well as teaching I also accompany people for ABRSM exams. I have experience working with people with special needs too.
Tutoring Approach:
I am a patient and enthusiastic teacher and the style I teach is classical music. I like to prepare some of my students for ABRSM exams but if you prefer not to do them then I understand that. I am willing to teach all ages and abilities.
All of my current pupils come to my home and this is what I prefer as it takes up too much of my time to travel.
I prefer to keep lessons at a regular time if possible and encourage people to come every or most weeks as I like my students to progress quickly. If lessons need to be changed for odd week I am happy to do that. I am looking for pupils that are reliable and turn up for lessons regularly.
